Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies with a couple showers across
the Northwoods prevailed across the region this morning.
Temperatures this morning ranged from the upper 30s to the low
50s.

Skies will start out mostly sunny this morning before clouds and
chances for showers and some thunderstorms increase from the
north by midday. These shower and thunderstorm chances will
continue to drop south this afternoon and exit by mid-evening.

Westerly winds will gust to 25 mph late this morning through early
this afternoon before winds turn north with the showers and
storms. Gusts of 30 to 35 mph are possible for a brief period in
far eastern Wisconsin this evening following the showers and
storms. Winds will then subside overnight and skies will clear.

A large range in high temperatures is expected today with mid 50s
to low 60s in central and north-central Wisconsin, and mid 60s to
near 70 in east-central and far northeast Wisconsin. Temperatures
will drop quickly this evening with the passage of the showers and
storms. Low temperatures will be about 15 degrees colder than this
morning`s temperatures with values ranging from the low 20s to low
30s.
