...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN SWAIN AND GRAHAM
COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM EDT...

At 150 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles northwest of Robbinsville, or near Town Of Santeetlah, moving
east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Robbinsville, Town Of Santeetlah, Lake Santeetlah, Fontana Lake,
Fontana Village, Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek, Smoky
Mountains-Fontana Area, Stecoah, Nantahala, and Cheoah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for
western North Carolina.
