Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 16Z, or 9 AM PDT, a 1026 MB surface high
was located 900 NM W of Point Conception with a ridge building
along the Pacific Northwest coast. A 999 MB surface low was 900 NM W
of Seattle. Moderate to strong west to northwest flow will continue
across the outer and northern waters and into the Santa Barbara
Channel through at least tonight.
