.DISCUSSION...

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will continue this
afternoon and evening across Southeast New Mexico and most of West
Texas given the very dry and breezy conditions in place. Elevated
conditions will continue each day through Thursday as warm and very
dry conditions persist. A cold front will bring much cooler
temperatures and increased moisture Friday through the weekend, with
widespread wetting rains possible Saturday and Sunday.
