...Atlantic Beaches: High Rip Current Risk...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Rip currents: There is a high risk of rip currents developing along the
Atlantic beaches.

Thunderstorms: Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible, mainly
over Southeast Florida this afternoon and evening. Strong to locally
damaging winds, hail, and frequent to excessive lightning are the
primary hazards. The threat of tornadic activity is non-zero as well.

Waterspouts: A few waterspouts cannot be ruled out, primarily over
the Atlantic waters.

Fog: Patchy fog may persist over interior areas of South Florida
through the early morning hours today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Hazardous marine conditions could be realized across the Atlantic
waters later this week as winds and waves increase.

A high risk of rip currents could linger through the end of
the week as onshore flow continues.
