...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level in low-
  lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

* WHERE...Ocracoke Island.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...The vulnerable portion of NC-12, on the northern end
  of the island, is expected to see inundation from ocean
  overwash through Saturday, especially at times of high tide.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-
  lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

* WHERE...Northern Outer Banks

* WHEN...Until 5 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Up to 1 foot of inundation above ground level is
  possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways
  resulting in a low threat of property damage. Some roads and low
  lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes
  adjacent to the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.
  PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
