...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN KINGFISHER...NORTHERN LINCOLN...LOGAN AND PAYNE
COUNTIES...

At 1027 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles southeast of Terlton to 4 miles southeast of
Tryon to near Okarche, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported golf ball size hail south of
         Guthrie.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Guthrie, Cushing, Kingfisher, Perkins, Langston, Crescent, Yale,
Okarche, Cashion, Carney, Tryon, Ripley, Agra, Coyle, Cedar Valley,
Cimarron City, Meridian, Fallis, Quay, and Avery.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms.

These storms are producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a
sturdy structure and stay away from windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
