Past 24 hour precipitation...
Yesterday, a few isolated showers in the early morning produced only
a tiny amount of rain.
Forecast precipitation for the next 72 hours...
Over the next 72 hours, the Upper Allegheny Basin is expected to receive
an average of 1.25 inches of rainfall, while the Monongahela and Ohio
basins are expected to receive an average of 1 inch.
River trends...
The River Forecast Center has recently updated its rainfall forecast.
The 48-hour forecast has now been extended to 72 hours, covering the expected
rainfall from the middle to the end of the workweek. The impact of this
precipitation will be felt on Saturday, which is just outside the current
48-hour forecast. Please stay tuned for further updates throughout the week.
Most rivers and streams will fall slightly through Thursday before getting
wet in the latter days of the week.
