At 142 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly south of I44
in eastern Oklahoma and also in Arkansas west of I49. Thunderstorms
with locally heavy rain were located in Muskogee, Sequoyah and
Wagoner counties in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa
area. The precipitation was in the Bentonville, Rogers and
Fayetteville area. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The
average amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter of
an inch with maximum amounts of two to two and a half inches.
Coverage increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for
late tonight, mostly cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms
with temperatures 63 to 67 degrees and northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
