.DISCUSSION...

Strong southeast winds will continue today and tonight, with gusts
over 25 mph likely. Expect scattered showers to break out by late
morning, with occasional bands of showers and isolated thunderstorms
moving across the area this afternoon and evening. Precipitation
chances begin to diminish after midnight, but still some scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms possible into mid-afternoon
Saturday. Wetting rain looks likely across entire fire, with a half
inch or greater rainfall possible by the time rain ends on Saturday.

.TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Cloudy. Scattered showers until 1100, then showers.
                    Isolated thunderstorms possible after 1500.
LAL.................1 until 1500, then 2.
Max temperature.....47-52F.
Min humidity........55-60 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Southeast winds 16-20 mph with gusts to around
                    26 mph.
Mixing height.......4500 ft agl.
Transport winds.....South around 35 mph.
Smoke dispersal.....Poor until 0700. very good after 1000.
Haines Index........3 or very low potential for large plume
                    dominated fire growth.

.TONIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Cloudy. Showers and isolated thunderstorms
                    until 2400, then numerous showers.
LAL.................2 until 2400, then 1.
Min temperature.....36-41F.
Max humidity........95-100 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Southeast winds 14-18 mph with gusts to around
                    24 mph. Gusty and erratic winds expected near
                    thunderstorms until 2400.

                    poor.
