...GALE FORCE WINDS LIKELY MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY...

.A low pressure system will impact the waters Monday through
Wednesday, bringing strong winds and dangerous seas. Southeast
winds will increase to 25 to 35 knots, spreading from south to
north Monday night and Tuesday. Seas will build to 10 to 16 feet.
Winds and seas will peak Tuesday, then gradually subside Tuesday
night and Wednesday.

...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City has issued
a Gale Watch, which is in effect from Monday evening through
Tuesday afternoon.

* WINDS...Southeast 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt.

* SEAS...10 to 15 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Watch is issued when the risk of gale force winds of 34 to
47 knots has significantly increased, but the specific timing
and/or location is still uncertain. It is intended to provide
additional lead time for mariners who may wish to consider
altering their plans.
