...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM FRIDAY TO 5 AM PDT SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 2 PM Friday to 5 AM PDT Sunday.

* WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 55 mph. Strongest gusts
  will occur below the passes and canyons.

* TIMING...Late Friday afternoon through late Saturday night. The
  strongest gusts are expected in the afternoon and evening hours
  on Friday and Saturday. Winds will gradually diminish late
  Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous driving conditions due to strong crosswinds,
  especially for high profile vehicles. Highways affected include
  14, 58, 178, and 395. Reduced visibility due to blowing dust
  and sand is possible at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 45 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
