The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal Waters From Indian Pass FL to Carrabelle FL from 15 to 40
  NM from shore...

* Until 1100 AM EDT/1000 AM CDT/.

* At 954 AM EDT/854 AM CDT/, a strong thunderstorm was located 14 nm
  southwest of C Tower, moving southeast at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
           waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make
           sure all on board are wearing life jackets.

* The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
