GLASSCOCK...SOUTHEASTERN WARD...REAGAN...SOUTHERN CRANE AND UPTON
COUNTIES UNTIL 715 AM CDT...

At 613 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles west of Silver to 25 miles southwest
of Garden City to 8 miles southeast of Crane to near Grandfalls.
Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Big Lake, McCamey, Rankin, Grandfalls, Reagan County Airport, Iraan,
Stiles, Imperial Reservoir, Upton County Airport, Bakersfield,
Girvin, King Mountain, Iraan Municipal Airport, Best, Saint Lawrence,
Imperial and Cordona Lake.

This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 276 and 315.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
