The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Bladen County in southeastern North Carolina...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 705 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over
  Elizabethtown, moving east...southeast at 40 mph. Numerous reports
  of trees down and power outages have been reported with this
  activity.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Elizabethtown, Carvers, Abbottsburg, Lisbon, Lagoon, Elkton,
  Emerson, Council, Kelly, Clarkton, White Lake, and Bladen County
  Hospital.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
