.DISCUSSION...

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect today for Cheyenne and Kit
Carson counties of Colorado and Wallace, Greeley and Wichita
counties of Kansas. Northwest winds gusting to 50 mph will combine
with relative humidity values below 15 percent to create dangerous
fire weather conditions.

Near critical fire weather conditions are expected Wednesday
afternoon generally along and east of a line from near Tribune
to McCook. In this area relative humidity values of 15 to 20
percent will combine with southwest winds gusting to 30 mph.
