Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Low temperatures this morning ranged from the mid 20s to lower 30s.
At 230 PM MDT this afternoon, the sky was mostly sunny and
temperatures ranged from the upper 50s to lower 70s, warmest in
Yuma County, Colorado and coolest in Norton and Red Willow
counties. No precipitation was observed during the past 24 hours.

OUTLOOK... A modest cold front will surge southward through the
Tri-State area early Friday morning. Cooler, slightly below
average temperatures will follow, on Friday, with highs ranging
from 50 to 60 degrees. An increasingly active weather pattern is
expected this weekend into early next week, as a developing low
pressure system in Colorado on Saturday intensifies and tracks
eastward across the Central Plains Sunday into Monday.
