Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The overnight hours saw mostly clear skies south of Interstate 70
while the rest of the region saw a mix of clouds and clear skies.
Temperatures as of two in the morning ranged from 42 at Saint
Francis, Kansas to 49 in McCook, Nebraska. Winds have been from
the south at 10 to 20 mph.

OUTLOOK... Today is forecast to be fairly warm with high
temperatures climbing into the 70`s and 80`s. Cloud cover is
forecast to gradually increase across the region along with the
winds shifting to out of the north. A few showers and
thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. Tonight,
cloud cover is forecast to diminish with winds steadying out of
the north at 10 mph. Lows will drop into the 30`s and 40`s.
Tomorrow, a bit more mild of a day with high temperatures in the
60`s and 70`s and winds from the north at 10 to 20 mph. A few
showers are possible over Eastern Colorado.
