Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
147 PM EDT Tue Apr 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...High pressure over the area continues to slide
toward the coast through tonight. A weak front is expected to
cross the area late Wednesday afternoon and evening with a few
isolated showers possible, mainly for the northern half of the
area. Any rainfall that occurs is forecast to be limited to a
couple hundredths. Behind the front, high pressure and upper
level ridging move back into the area, allowing temperatures to
rise into the 80s for Saturday into next week.

Fog potential: Patchy fog is possible, mainly along area creeks,
rivers and lakes.
