Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
1015 AM CDT Wed May 8 2024

Early morning fog had dissipated and clouds have begun to break
up over northern Wisconsin late this morning. Sunny skies were
reported across central and east-central Wisconsin. Temperatures
had warmed into the middle to upper 50s far north, middle to
upper 60s south.

Skies will turn partly sunny or mostly cloudy this afternoon as a
weak surface trough moves through the region. This trough will
bring a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly to
central Wisconsin. High temperatures to range from the lower 60s
far north and Door County, upper 60s to lower 70s elsewhere.

This initial small chance for precipitation is expected to
diminish this evening. However, another system passing to our
south may keep a chance of showers primarily from Highway 29 south
late tonight through Thursday. Lows tonight to range from the
upper 30s to lower 40s north, middle to upper 40s south. Highs on
Thursday to be in the middle 50s to around 60 degrees.

More rain chances are in the forecast for the end of the week.
