Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
Low pressure developing several hundred nautical miles northwest
of the area will bring the threat of thunderstorms through the
weekend. Some of these thunderstorms could be strong with the
threat of intense rain, damaging winds and waterspouts possible
especially tonight through Friday around Kauai and Oahu. Surface
ridge will build eastward in its wake Monday through Tuesday.

winds 10 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 12 ft. Scattered thunderstorms NW
half.

to 20 kt. SE half,E to SE winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 10 ft.
