...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Stone,
Searcy, Newton, northwestern Izard, northern Johnson, Marion,
northwestern Van Buren, Fulton, Baxter and northern Pope Counties
through 945 PM CDT
...

At 854 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Flippin to near Devils Knob. Movement was east
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for western and
north central Arkansas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until
300 AM CDT for central and north central Arkansas.
