Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A front will stall S of the waters today as developing low pressure slides E along the front. A weak high pressure ridge will form over the waters tonight as the low moves off to the E and SE of the waters. The high will move off to the E of the area Wed as a warm front approaches from the S and low pressure approaches from the W. The low will move E over the region Wed night, with a trailing weak cold front crossing the area. The front will stall over the S waters early Thu, and persist late Thu. Developing low pressure will move NE over the waters Thu night into Fri, and pass E of the region Fri night. Higher pressure will build into the waters Sat and Sat night.
