height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...A low pressure
trough across Vancouver Island will persist through Thu. Another
low pressure trough along the coast of southern Oregon will
expand N along the coasts of Oregon and Washington tonight, then
persist through Fri while weakening. Low pressure will develop
along an approaching cold front late Fri into Fri night. The low
pressure will move NE and clip NW portions of the region Sat with
the associated cold front moving across the area Fri night and
Sat. A high pressure ridge will build across the region late Sat
and Sat night. A low pressure trough again develops along the
coast of Oregon Sun through Mon, then weakens Mon night. A high
pressure center will move N along the outer waters Sun and move N
of the area Sun night into Mon. A cold front will approach the
area from the W late Mon and Mon night.
