This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A couple of light snow showers may impact the Continental Divide
late tonight. Little if any snow accumulation is forecast.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Gusty southwest winds and near critical relative humidity values
could lead to periods of critical fire weather conditions across
portions of our southeastern plains on Saturday and Sunday. Gusty
winds could also lead to blowing dust and degraded visibilities,
especially for Baca county.

Rain and snow chances increase across the forecast area beginning
Saturday afternoon over the high country, and spreading into the
lower terrain for Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.
Accumulating snowfall could lead to degraded travel conditions,
which could effect the Monday morning commute, especially over
Teller County and the Palmer Divide. Mountain travel could also be
difficult at times during this period, especially over mountain
passes.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters will not be needed today or tonight.
