...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN NASH...EDGECOMBE
AND NORTHEASTERN WILSON COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 300 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Elm City, or near Rocky Mount, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Wilson, Elm City, Dortches, Princeville,
Sharpsburg, Pinetops, Conetoe, and Speed.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
central North Carolina.
