...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT REPUBLIC COUNTY THROUGH 1130 PM
CDT...

At 1042 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Nelson to 4 miles west of
Lovewell State Park to near Mankato. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Belleville, Scandia, Courtland, Cuba, Norway, Republic, Munden, and
Narka.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
north central Kansas.
