At 142 AM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly in northeast
Oklahoma and along and west of I49 in Arkansas. Thunderstorms with
locally heavy rain were located in Wagoner, Delaware and Adair
counties in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa area. The
precipitation was in the Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville area.
Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The average amount where
it rained last hour was around one quarter of an inch with maximum
amounts of two to two and a half inches. Coverage and intensity
remained about the same as last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for
late tonight, showers and thunderstorms likely with damaging winds,
large hail, and heavy rainfall and temperatures 65 to 71 degrees
along with east winds 5 to 15 mph.
