.DISCUSSION...Mostly cloudy skies and good chances for rain are
expected today. Winds will be breezy out of the east to southeast.
Cloudy conditions and light rain and snow will persist overnight
into early Saturday morning.

The grassland fire danger index will reach the moderate category
this afternoon. Marginal weather conditions or a lowering
moisture content of grasses, and other dry organic material on
the ground, indicate that there is some potential for a fire
occurrence. Do not leave outdoor fires unattended under these
conditions.

index will reach the moderate category.
