...Freezing Rain Possible From Interstate 74 Northward Through

Showers of freezing rain will continue to develop through this
morning from near I-74 northward. Ice accumulations are expected
to be less than a tenth of an inch. Icy spots may develop on
untreated roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. Elevated
objects such as trees and roof tops will be more susceptible to
ice accumulations. Temperatures are expected to rise above
freezing by around 9 a.m. ending any additional accumulations.
Slow down, and allow extra following distance and extra time to
reach your destination if traveling north of I-74 across northern
parts of Illinois and Indiana from late this evening into Saturday
