.DISCUSSION...

Poor ventilation is forecast under a nocturnal temperature inversion
for the remainder of tonight. An upper level trough gradually exiting
the region will continue to produce a slight chance for snow showers
with little or no accumulation until sunrise. A westerly breeze will
develop as skies clear and ventilation improves on Wednesday, but it
will remain cool with a high temperature about 15 degrees below the
30-year average. A warming trend is forecast through the latter half
of the week with the high temperature reaching near normal on
Friday. Winds will strengthen Thursday, then become strong on
Friday when gusts could reach up to 45 mph.
