...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ISLE OF WIGHT...
SOUTHEASTERN CHARLES CITY...NORTHEASTERN PRINCE GEORGE...CENTRAL
YORK...SOUTHERN JAMES CITY...AND SURRY COUNTIES...THE NORTHERN CITY
OF NEWPORT NEWS AND THE CITY OF WILLIAMSBURG THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 444 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Toano to near Rustic to near Burrowsville.
Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
         unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
         vehicles. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Williamsburg, Claremont, and Cabin Point around 450 PM EDT.
  Surry, College Of William And Mary, Jamestown, Kings Point, and
  Scotland around 455 PM EDT.
  Elberon around 505 PM EDT.
  Newport News around 510 PM EDT.
  Fort Eustis around 515 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Rushmere, Taylors
Corner, Pons, Lackey, Chippokes State Park, Oriana, Spring Grove,
Ellis Fork, Newport News Golf Course, and Poolesville.
