This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Critical fire weather conditions may develop the rest of this
afternoon into early this evening across western sections of the
Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles due to southwest winds of 15 to 25
mph with higher gusts along with minimum relative humidity values
as low as 10 percent. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for this
area until 9 PM CDT this evening.

Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and tonight across mainly
the eastern half of the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles. Some storms
will likely become severe, with very large hail and damaging winds
the primary hazards. In addition a tornado or two cannot be ruled
out. A Tornado Watch is in effect for the eastern Oklahoma Panhandle
and the eastern half of the Texas Panhandle through 11 PM CDT this
evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Additional thunderstorms may develop Thursday night through Sunday
afternoon across parts of the area. Any storms that form are expected
to remain below severe levels at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed between 4 PM this afternoon and
11 PM CDT this evening.

Area fire managers and emergency officials should be alert for
critical fire weather conditions this afternoon and evening.
