...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL TALLAPOOSA AND
SOUTH CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM CDT...

At 644 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New Site, or 10 miles northeast of Alexander City, moving northeast
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Site, Goldville, and Daviston.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
