Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
525 AM EDT Mon Mar 25 2024

Fair and dry weather is expected to last into early Tuesday as a
ridge of high pressure remains in control of our weather.

Under a mostly sunny sky, highs this afternoon will range from
the upper 40s across the highest terrain of the Allegheny Plateau
to the mid 60s in far southwestern Pennsylvania. A southeasterly
breeze will develop during the day, and could become a bit gusty.

The increasingly moist southeasterly flow will continue into
tonight, and could eventually draw some low cloudiness into
roughly the eastern half of Pennsylvania. Lows by daybreak on
Tuesday will range from the low to mid 30s across central and
eastern Pennsylvania to the low 40s across the far west.

Tuesday will see clouds continue to thicken statewide, with highs
in the 50s. Rain showers could spread into western Pennsylvania
late in the day, ahead of an approaching frontal system.
