At 1040 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles north of Lake Icaria, or 9 miles north of Corning, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail and additional rainfall up to one half inch. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Ponding of water on roadways, low visibilities, and rises in small streams and creeks. Locations impacted include... Greenfield, Corning, Guthrie Center, Panora, Lake Icaria, Lake Panorama, Anita, Exira, Adair, Fontanelle, Casey, Massena, Menlo, Cumberland, Prescott, Bridgewater, Wiota, Carbon, Lake Anita State Park, and Nodaway Park.
