.DISCUSSION...A late season winter storm will move over the fire
site on Monday bringing cooler temperatures and a chance for
showers. However, potential for wetting rain is low. Winds will
shift through the day as the storm`s center moves overhead,
beginning out of the south and transitioning to the west in the
afternoon. Dry and warmer conditions expected Tuesday with less
wind.

.MONDAY...

Sky/weather.........Sunny (15-25 percent) then becoming partly
                    sunny (55-65 percent). Slight chance of rain
                    showers in the morning, then chance of rain
                    showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in
                    the afternoon.
CWR.................10 percent.
Max temperature.....60-65.
Min humidity........15-20 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........South winds 10 to 15 mph with occasional gusts
                    to 25 mph shifting to the west from 1200 to
                    1500. Gusty and erratic winds expected
                    near thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Smoke dispersal.....Becoming excellent.
Haines Index........4 or low.
LAL.................1 until 1200, then 2.
Mixing height.......Rising to 10200 ft AGL at peak heating.
Transport winds.....Southwest 24 mph.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (55-65 percent). Chance of rain
                    showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in
                    the evening, then slight chance of rain showers
                    overnight.

Wind (20 ft)........Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph decreasing to
                    5 to 10 mph and shifting to downvalley flow
                    in the evening. Gusty and erratic winds
