This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

This morning the major early spring storm will continue
with gusty winds, freezing rain, sleet and some snow. The
combination of gusty winds and ice accumulations up to one third
of an inch will lead to serious travel hazards and also increase
the number of power outages already occuring. The freezing rain
will change to rain near and south of I-96 by midday but is
expected to continue into later afternoon north of I-96. Areas
north of I-96 will continue to see major impacts from this storm
into late afternoon as a result of frozen precipitation not ending
until late afternoon.

Tonight the precipitation will change to snow after midnight but
accumulations should be light.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Snow showers area expected into Tuesday morning. Some
accumulations are possible near and west of US-131. This could
impact the morning and evening commutes on Monday and the morning
commute Tuesday.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

Gale winds will cause dangerous conditions on the near shore
waters into this afternoon. Winds will decrease some this
afternoon but winds and waves will remain hazardous to small craft
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Winds and waves will remain hazardous to small craft most of this
week.
