...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Comstock Park...Grand
Rapids...Kalamazoo River at New Richmond...Pere Marquette River at
Scottville...Muskegon River at Evart...Newaygo...Chippewa River at Mt
Pleasant...

The following forecast is based on observed and forecast 24 hour
precipitation.

For the Grand River Near Comstock Park... the latest stage was 10.5
feet at 7 PM Tuesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 11.8 feet early Saturday morning.  Flood stage is 12.0
feet.  At 12.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of homes along Abrigador
Trail..

For the Grand River At Grand Rapids... the latest stage was 9.6 feet
at 8 PM Tuesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 13.0 feet Saturday evening.  Flood stage is 18.0 feet.


For the Kalamazoo River Near New Richmond... the latest stage was
14.7 feet at 8 PM Tuesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum
stage forecasted is 14.9 feet tomorrow morning.  Flood stage is 17.0
feet.

For the Pere Marquette River Near Scottville... the latest stage was
4.0 feet at 9 PM Tuesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The river has
fallen M feet in the past 24 hours.  Flood stage is 5.5 feet.  At 4.0
feet... River is bankfull. Overflow of low lying areas adjacent to
the river occurs..

For the Muskegon River At Evart... the latest stage was 9.7 feet at 8
PM Tuesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 10.2 feet Monday evening.  Flood stage is 12.0 feet.  At 10.0
feet... River is bankfull..

For the Muskegon River At Newaygo... the latest stage was 10.1 feet
at 9 PM Tuesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The river has fallen M
feet in the past 24 hours.  Flood stage is 11.0 feet.  At 10.0
feet... River is bankfull.  River begins to exceed its banks and
minor flooding begins in low lying areas along the river..

For the Chippewa River Below Mt Pleasant... the latest stage was 5.5
feet at 8 PM Tuesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.1 feet Saturday morning.  Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
At 6.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of low lying
areas adjacent to the river including portions of the Mount Pleasant
Country Club Golf Course..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
