The following forecasts are for rivers in Southwest Lower Michigan...

For the Grand River At Ionia... the latest stage was 13.1 feet at 10
AM Saturday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 13.2 feet this afternoon.  Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

For the Kalamazoo River Near New Richmond... the latest stage was
14.9 feet at 10 AM Saturday.   No flooding is forecast.  The river
has fallen 0.3 feet in the past 24 hours.  Flood stage is 17.0 feet.


Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
