The following forecasts are for rivers in Southwest Lower Michigan...

For the Grand River Near Comstock Park... the latest stage was 9.9
feet at 7 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 11.6 feet Friday morning.  Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
At 12.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of homes along Abrigador
Trail..

For the Grand River At Grand Rapids... the latest stage was 8.5 feet
at 9 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 13.1 feet Saturday morning.  Flood stage is 18.0 feet.


For the Grand River At Robinson Township... the latest stage was 11.8
feet at 9 AM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 12.8 feet Saturday evening.  Flood stage is 13.3 feet.
At 13.0 feet... River is bankfull..

For the Red Cedar River Above Williamston... the latest stage was 6.6
feet at 9 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.1 feet early Wednesday morning.  Flood stage is 9.0
feet.  At 7.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow begins in low lying
areas adjacent to the river..

For the Red Cedar River At East Lansing... the latest stage was 6.2
feet at 8 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.5 feet early Wednesday morning.  Flood stage is 7.0
feet.  At 7.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of low lying areas,
adjacent parks, and farmland..

For the Pere Marquette River Near Scottville... the latest stage was
4.0 feet at 9 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum
stage forecasted is 4.2 feet tomorrow early afternoon.  Flood stage
is 5.5 feet.  At 4.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow of low lying
areas adjacent to the river occurs..

For the Muskegon River At Evart... the latest stage was 9.8 feet at 8
PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 10.4 feet Monday morning.  Flood stage is 12.0 feet.  At 10.5
feet... Flood waters begin to surround homes upstream of Evart in the
Jeffery subdivision along Linden and Riverside Roads. Portions of
Linden and Riverside Roads in the Jeffery subdivision begin to go
underwater. High water also begins to cover Trout Drive in the Doc
and Tom subdivision located just east of m66 off of 9 Mile Road..

For the Muskegon River At Newaygo... the latest stage was 10.1 feet
at 9 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 10.4 feet Friday morning.  Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
At 10.0 feet... River is bankfull.  River begins to exceed its banks
and minor flooding begins in low lying areas along the river..

For the Muskegon River AT Bridgeton... the latest stage was 11.9 feet
at 9 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 12.2 feet early Friday morning.  Flood stage is 13.0
feet.  At 12.0 feet... The river is bankfull.  .

For the Chippewa River Below Mt Pleasant... the latest stage was 5.7
feet at 9 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.3 feet early Saturday morning.  Flood stage is 8.0
feet.  At 6.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of low
lying areas adjacent to the river including portions of the Mount
Pleasant Country Club Golf Course..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
