.DISCUSSION...
A great drying day will come to an end this evening as winds
slacken becoming light tonight. Humidity will also recover as
onshore marine air pushes across southern Maine and into portions
of New Hampshire overnight. Rain chances increase west to east
Wednesday morning as low pressure and a cold front slide through
the region. Rain amounts should generally tally a quarter inch
towards the mountains and US/CAN border, to around a tenth of an
inch elsewhere. A few snow showers are possible in the mountains
as well. Temperatures turn colder for remainder of the afternoon,
with NW gusts picking up behind the front. A period of dry
weather
is expected Thursday - Saturday, where RH values fall into the
20s during the afternoon. Winds are currently forecast to be 15
mph or less.
