A disturbance will move through Central California through the
weekend, resulting in a chance for rain in the San Joaquin Valley
and snow above 6,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada and Kern County
Mountains. There is a chance for thunderstorms today and tomorrow
afternoon.

Sky/weather.........Sunny (15-25 percent).
Surface winds (mph).Upslope/upvalley winds around 16 mph.

.TONIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (35-45 percent). Chance of rain
                    showers overnight.
Surface winds (mph).Upvalley winds 8 to 14 mph becoming downvalley 6
                    to 8 mph overnight.

.SATURDAY...

Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (55-65 percent)becoming
                    cloudy (90-100 percent). Rain showers through
                    the day. Slight chance of thunderstorms in the
                    afternoon.
