This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Thunderstorm chances return late tonight mainly across central
Kansas. Gusty winds and small hail may be possible with the
strongest activity.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Thunderstorm chances will continue Sunday through Sunday night
areawide. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late Sunday
afternoon and Sunday evening over central and portions of south
central Kansas. The primary hazards will be damaging winds of 60 to
65 mph and quarter sized hail.
Strong to potentially damaging south winds of 50 to 60 mph are
likely Sunday with strong winds persisting Sunday night. See latest

A brief transition to snow may be possible across central Kansas
late Sunday night into Monday. Minor accumulations are expected to
result in minimal impacts at this time.
A very high fire danger is possible on Thursday for parts of
central Kansas and much of the area on Friday, with breezy south
winds and above normal temperatures.
