...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN ELK AND CENTRAL CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES...

At 955 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
Longton, or 11 miles northeast of Sedan, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Sedan, Longton, Elk Falls, and Hale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for southeastern
Kansas.
