...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast North Carolina, including the
  following county, Robeson.

* WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 824 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding may
    be ongoing in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.2 inches are expected
    over the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lumberton, Pembroke, Hestertown, Barker Ten Mile,
    Howellsville, Elrod, Prospect, Smiths, and Raemon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
