...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ROBESON AND MARLBORO
COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM EDT...

At 659 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hoffman to near Cheraw Municipal Airport.
Movement was southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bennettsville, Red Springs, Maxton, Mccoll, Clio, Rex, Shannon,
Wallace, Wakulla, Chavistown, Prospect, Dunbar, Raemon, Gibson,
Parkton, Rennert, Blenheim, Lumber Bridge, and Tatum.

This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 32
and 38.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern North Carolina...and northeastern South Carolina.
