This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

This evening and tonight, isolated thunderstorms are possible,
primarily west of US-83. Thunderstorms this evening are not expected
to be severe. After midnight and through Sunday morning, rain
showers across northern Nebraska are expected to switch over to
freezing rain and sleet, with ice accumulations up to one tenth of
an inch possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Additional thunderstorms will be possible Sunday afternoon and
evening across portions of southwest and north central Nebraska. At
this time, the threat for severe weather appears low but an isolated
severe storm producing large hail may form south of Highway 23 and
east of US-83.

Confidence continues to increase regarding a strong spring storm
arriving Sunday and lasting into Monday. The hazards are
accumulating snow, high winds, and freezing rain or sleet. Strong
north winds gusting up to 60 mph will cause significant blowing and
drifting snow with very low visibility Sunday night and Monday.
Travel will likely become difficult to impossible Sunday night into
Monday. The combination of wintry precipitation and subzero wind
chills could impact young livestock.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
