Skies were clear to partly cloudy overnight as the remnants of an
upper level trough of low pressure dissipated across the central
plains. Overnight lows were in the lower to middle 40s across
western and north central Nebraska. North Platte was coolest with
a low of 41 degrees.

High pressure will build southeast from Montana today, leading to
clear to partly cloudy skies across the area. Winds will be light
from the north and northwest at 10 to 15 MPH and afternoon highs
will reach into the upper 60s to lower 70s. For tonight, skies
will be mostly clear with light and variable winds. Lows will be
in the lower 40s.
