* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Oakdale.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Low secondary roads near the river begin
  to flood. Several houses in close proximity to the river are
  subject to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 18.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 AM CDT Saturday was 18.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.0
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

  - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 18.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Saturday was 18.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.7
    feet this afternoon then begin a slow fall on Sunday. It will
    then fall below flood stage Monday evening.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Saturday was 18.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.0
    feet this evening then begin a slow fall on Sunday. It will
    then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.

  of the lake. Some of the lowest structures on the north end of the
  lake begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 98.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Saturday was 99.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 95.2 feet
    Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 97.0 feet.

  Market Road 418. Water threatens homes near the creek in Kountze.
  Significant flooding occurs in Village Creek State Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 22.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 AM CDT Saturday was 24.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue falling to 7.6 feet Thursday
    morning.

  and homes near the river will be affected. Reeds Bridge Road
  begins to flood upstream of oberlin.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of
    18.0 feet Tuesday evening.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening to a crest of 25.4 feet Monday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage late Monday evening.

  including Highway 112 which is flooded for about 1.5 miles between
  Highway 121 and Beechwood Church. Major flood damage downstream
  will occur downstream of the gauge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM CDT Saturday was 18.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to near 16.1 feet
    Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
